If I have questions about volunteering, whom should I contact?

How many shifts must I work?Each registered volunteer is required to work at least 4 four-hour shifts for a total of 16 hours during the June 23-29 Championship week.
When I am not scheduled to work, may I use my volunteer badge to watch golf?Yes. Each registered volunteer will receive a volunteer badge allowing grounds access to the Championship for the entire week.
When will I hear from my Chairperson?Your chair will contact you after January 1, 2008.
When will we receive our schedules for the 2008 U.S. Women’s Open?Schedules will be mailed in late April of 2008.
When is the Volunteer Training?Volunteer Training will be in late May and early June of 2008.
How and when will we receive our uniforms?Uniforms will be mailed directly to your home sometime in late April/early May of 2008.
Are there discounted accommodations available for volunteers?
For those volunteers traveling from out of town, a discount has been secured on hotel rooms at the Bloomington Super 8 Hotel and the Eden Prairie Fairfield Inn.
The Bloomington Super 8 Hotel is located approximately 15 minutes from the golf course. The rate is $77 per night. For additional information regarding the hotel and to make your reservation, please contact the hotel directly at (952) 888-8800 or at 1 (800) 800-8000. Please note: when booking your room you must indicate that you are with the Women’s Open by using the phrase “2008 USWO” to receive the discounted rate.
The Eden Prairie Fairfield Inn is located approximately 10 minutes from the golf course. The rate is $129 per night. For additional information and to make your reservations please contact the hotel directly at (952) 903-9444.
